The Challenge:
A local ice cream company that produced all organic ice cream was struggling to keep their cool. They were renting a facility with an Alkin Freezer, but as production increased to meet demand, they discovered the freezer didn’t meet their capacity needs. Could Sanco Services help them?

After assessing the company’s situation, Sanco discovered that the company had a truck dock on site. Placing a refrigerated tractor trailer at the dock would give the company the space they needed. They customized the trailer to suit the company’s needs, installing a bulk head so that they weren’t wasting energy keeping the whole area cold. As production grows and their market share expands, the bulk head can be removed, giving them even more space. A roll up rear door provides easy access.

The Challenge:
A fiberglass manufacturing company has temperature sensitive explosive materials that they store off-site. They used electricity to keep the container at a safe temperature, but when the power went out, things started to heat up.

The Sanco Services Solution:
Knowing that down time can cause an emergency situation, Sanco Services provided a cost effective solution that contained a backup system that exceeded the needs and wants of the customer. Building on the current system, a custom bracket was installed to hang a truck refrigeration unit with a fuel station and electrical backup. The container is now temperature controlled by a unit that runs on diesel fuel and has a separate electrical standby. Adding Telematics to the reefer unit, the customer now receives automatic alerts and unit summaries via email and phone ensuring them everything is running correctly.
